Simple Steps to Making Hand Sanitizer and Disinfectants

Hand Sanitizer
Stir together 1-part Aloe Vera and 2-parts 99% rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) until fully incorporated.

Note: A part can be any measurement value (cup, quart, gallon) if the ratio 1 to 2 remains the same. If you cannot find 99% rubbing alcohol, you may need to adjust the ratio above to make sure the mixture contains at least 60% alcohol.

Alcohol Disinfectant
Stir together 1-part water and 3-parts 99% rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) until fully incorporated.

Note: A part can be any measurement value (cup, quart, gallon) if the ratio 1 to 3 remains the same. If you cannot find 99% rubbing alcohol, you may need to adjust the ratio above to make sure the mixture contains at least 70% alcohol.

Bleach Disinfectant
Mix 5 Tablespoons or 1/3 cup of bleach per 1 gallon of water or 4 teaspoons of bleach per 1 quart of water.

Note: NEVER MIX BLEACH WITH AMONIA OR ANY OTHER HOUSEHOLD CLEANER. Check to make sure bleach is not past an expiration date. Unexpired bleach WILL be effective against Coronavirus when properly diluted.
